The toner density monitoring interval is determined by the developer toner density
monitoring interval setup command from the controller. The interval setting is
expressed by the full dot count (the number of LED dots illuminated between
successive density detection operations) and in the range from 0 through 250.
Further, while the printer is in the off-line idling state, a one-second toner supply
operation can be manually executed using the controller's engine operation request
command for toner supply.
