Note that this condition will not cause the printer to stop printing. When one of the
above messages appears, perform the appropriate scheduled maintenance or call the
factory-trained service representative to perform the maintenance.
When you have performed a level of service, it is necessary to clear the page count
for that service level. When you clear a service level, the levels above it are also
cleared. For example, clearing level C also clears levels A and B.
To clear a service level (level D, for example), enter the Diagnostics menu through the
control panel, select the Tech Service option, and select Clear Level D by pressing
ENTER. The LED on the disk drive lights. When the LED goes out, you may exit the
Diagnostics menu. Or you may move to the Printer Life option in the Diagnostics
menu to verify that Level D Pages has been reset to "0."
