Install the Toner Cartridge

To install the toner cartridge for the first time, perform the following steps. (To
replace the toner cartridge when the message "Toner Empty" is displayed on the
control panel, refer to page 3–50.)
This procedure assumes the following:
The power switch is OFF.
The power cord is unplugged.
The right rear cover is not attached.
The printer front upper cover is open.
You have installed the drum.
You have added developer to the developing unit and installed the unit.
NOTE: When installing the toner cartridge, wear vinyl gloves to prevent toner from
