7. Connect the power cord to the terminal block. Connect the power cord and
ground wire to each terminal, in the following order: line 1, line 2, and ground
wire. Tighten the nut to lock the power cord in position. The breaker should be
set to "ON," as shown in the following illustration.
8. Reinstall the transparent terminal cover and the terminal box cover over the
terminal stand, and tighten their screws.
9. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the printer is set to the OFF position.
10. Attach the appropriate mating connector for the particular service outlet available
to the other end of the power cord. Insure that the connector used meets the
power requirements of the printer. (Refer to "Power Requirements" on
page 2–2.)
11. Do not attach the right rear cover, yet.
