Installing Consumables
The following procedures should be performed only by an individual who has
received the appropriate training.
To prepare the printer for initial operation, perform the following procedures:
Install the photoreceptor drum
Add the developer to the developing unit
Install the developing unit
Install the toner cartridge
Load fan-fold paper
Load cut-sheet paper (optional)
Install the diskette(s)
Set the power supply voltage
The instructions for the initial installation of consumables are written as a
continuous procedure, where each task builds upon the previous task. For
individual replacement procedures, refer to page 3–30.
