3. To lower the transport route surface, turn the green transport unit lever to the left.
To avoid damaging the printer or causing false paper jams, the transport lever
must be in the complete down position before opening or closing the transport
unit.
4. Remove knob "A" from its place as shown below. Attach knob "A" to the paper
feed shaft, and turn knob "A" counterclockwise. This causes the jammed paper to
be moved to the eject side. Remove any jammed paper, and return knob "A" to
its original position.
5. Restore the transport unit and the waste toner recovery unit to their original
positions, and close the front cover.
