6. Rotate the developing unit lever fully clockwise so that it is pointing straight up.
This separates the developing unit from the photoreceptor drum.
7. Remove the developing unit by holding the lever in one hand and pulling the
developing unit partially out of the printer.

Failure to perform step 6 will damage the photoreceptor drum.
