Adjusting Power Supply Unit For Flash

The flash power supply unit is adjusted as follows (refer to pages 10–85 through
10–91 in Chapter 10, "Replacement Procedures," for additional information).
If you use the engine checker when adjusting the flash power supply unit, the
blower must be on. (The engine checker is explained in Chapter 8, "Engine
Checker.")
It is best to perform this adjustment using a print job.
1. Connect the tester to the V CHECK terminal of the flash power supply unit.
2. Turn the flash on, and adjust V ADJ to where the detection output voltage of V
CHECK terminal becomes 1.7V.
3. Turn the flash off.
