d. While holding the sensor in place, tighten the two screws securing the sensor.
Do not rotate the dummy drum before removing the drum plate, as this may
damage the sensor.

5. Remove the screw holding the GND clip on the plate with the bearing. Place the
ring terminal (green wire) of the power supply under the screw and re–attach the
GND clip.
6. Remove both rear covers from the printer. (Refer to page 10–6 in Chapter 10,
"Replacement Procedures.")
7. Connect the power supply to the stacker power connector located near the
breaker.
8. Remove the cables attached to CN2 and CN4 on the MPU board. Connect both
cables from the engine checker box to CN2 and CN4.
9. Turn the rotary switch on the MPU board to position 2.
NOTE: The engine checker works with firmware versions 1.7C and above. Verify
