The available settings for the paper feed cassette are provided in the following table

When the plastic inserts in the cassette contact the paper size sensors on the printer,
the printer determines that the paper cassette is in position and identifies the paper
size.
A cassette paper sensor is used to determine whether the paper supply cassette is
empty.
