By default, the Management application receives SNMP v1 and v2c traps from Brocade IP products
that have any SNMP community strings. You can accept or restrict SNMP v1 and v2c traps by
selecting one of the following check boxes in the Event Reception dialog box:
The Management application can receive SNMP v1 traps from Brocade SAN switches and directors
that have any SNMP community strings. It can receive SNMP v3 traps and informs from these SAN
products.
