The procedure below details how to refit the motor, axis 5.

Turn off all:
electric power supply to the robot
hydraulic pressure supply to the robot
air pressure supply to the robot
Before entering the robot working area.
Make sure the o-ring on the circumference of the
motor is seated properly. Lightly lubricate the o-ring
with grease.
CAUTION
The motor weighs 22 kg! All lifting equipment used
must be sized accordingly!
Fit the lifting tool, motor axis 1, 4, 5 to the motor.
In order to release the brakes, connect the 24 VDC
power supply to the motor.
Fit the two guide pins in two of the motor attach-
ment holes.
Fit the motor, with guidance from the pins, making
sure the motor pinion is properly mated to the gear
of gearbox, axis 5.
If necessary, use the rotation tool in order to rotate
the motor pinion when mating it to the gear!
Secure the motor with four attachment screws and
plain washers.
If required, use the extension 300 mm for bits 1/2". Art. no. is specified in
Disconnect the brake release voltage.
Reconnect all connectors beneath the motor cover.

Make sure the motor is turned the
right direction, that is the cables
facing forward.

neath the motor cover, directly on
the motor shaft as shown in figure
above.
M10 x 40, 12.9 quality.
Tightening torque: 50 Nm.
