C Laser Thermistor Error (C/K)
C Laser Thermistor Error (Y/M)
One of the following occurred:
• The reading of the thermistor in the
less than 10°C (50°F), indicating that the thermistor
has disconnected.
• The reading of the thermistor in the
more than 80°C (176°F), indicating that the thermistor
has shorted out.
• Cycle the machine off/on
• IOB harness loose, disconnected, broken, defective

CK/YM laser unit defective
• IOB defective
A Hot Roller NC Sensor (Sensor 7) Poor Connection
The hot roller NC sensor (infrared thermistor) on top of
the fusing unit detected temperature less than 0C for 75
sec.
•
Do SP5810 to cancel the fatal error
•
Sensor disconnected
•
Sensor connector harness or connector broken or
defective
A Thermistor 8 Error:
Temperature detected at less than 0°C.
Note: This is the contact thermistor at the top rear of the
fusing unit
• Do SP5810 to cancel the fatal error
• Harness disconnected or broken
• Poor contact with surface of heating roller
• Thermistor defective
