Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see
Step 2 Loosen the screws on the hard disk backplane. See step (1) in
Figure 5-61 Removing a hard disk backplane
Step 3 Pull out the captive screws of the ejector levers on both sides of the backplane,
and rotate the ejector levels in the arrow direction. See steps (2) and (3) in
5-61.
Step 4 Remove the hard disk backplane in the arrow direction. See step (4) in
5-61.
Step 5 Place the removed hard disk backplane in an ESD bag.
