Huawei FusionPar Technology
FusionPar changes the CPU interconnection topology through collaboration
between iBMC and the BIOS. The RH8100 V3 leverages Huawei FusionPar
technology to provide a hard partitioning feature. With FusionPar technology, the
RH8100 V3 can operate in single-system or dual-system mode.
The operating mode of the RH8100 V3 can be set based on service requirements
to maximize return on investment (ROI).
The FusionPar technology uses the following features to improve service load
flexibility:
Issue 30 (2019-12-19)

● In dual-system mode, the management network port of HFC-1 is unavailable and the
network cable does not need to be connected. But the iBMC of HFC-1 still works and
can be accessed through the management network port of HFC-2.
The default mode is single-system.
The dual-system mode is also called dual-partition mode. In this mode, the
RH8100 V3 operates as two 4-socket systems: systems A and B, which are also
called partitions A and B.
Easy switching: One-click switching between the operating modes using the
iBMC WebUI does not need any hardware changes or software upgrades.
Unified management UI: In single-system mode, a unified iBMC UI manages
the server.
