6.2 Powering Off the RH8100 V3

This topic describes how to power off the RH8100 V3.
Scenarios
The method for powering off the RH8100 V3 varies according to the scenario.
Issue 30 (2019-12-19)

The power supply units (PSUs) are properly installed but not powered on.
When the server is in single-system mode, it is powered on with the
PSUs.
When the server is in dual-system mode, systems A and B are powered
on with the PSUs.
The PSUs are powered on, and the server is in the standby state.
When the server is in single-system mode, hold down the primary power
button on the front panel to power on the RH8100 V3.
When the server is in dual-system mode, hold down the primary power
button on the front panel to power on system A and hold down the
secondary power button on the front panel to power on system B.
In the remote management scenario, use the iBMC CLI to power on the
RH8100 V3.
When the server is in single-system mode, run the ipmcset -d
powerstate -v 1 command on the iBMC CLI to remotely power on the
server.
When the server is in dual-system mode, run the ipmcset -d powerstate
-v 1 command on the iBMC CLI of system A to remotely power on system
A and run this command on the iBMC CLI of system B to remotely power
on system B.
Use the iBMC WebUI to power on the server.
When the server is in single-system mode, log in to the iBMC WebUI,
choose Power on the menu bar, choose Power Control in the navigation
tree, and click Power On and then OK to power on the server.
When the server is in dual-system mode, log in to the iBMC WebUI of
system A, choose Power on the menu bar, choose Power Control in the
navigation tree, click Power On and then OK to power on system A. Then
log in to the iBMC WebUI of system B, and repeat the follow-up
operations to power on system B.
The RH8100 V3 needs to be maintained or replaced.
The RH8100 V3 needs to be relocated.
