Remove a compute module if:

You have powered off the RH8100 V3. For details, see

Procedure
Step 1 Wear an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves. For details, see
Step 2 Ensure that the system where the compute module is located is powered off (the
power indicator of the system is off). Press the ejector release buttons to eject the
ejector levers. See step (1) in
Step 3 Raise both ejector levers on the compute module. See step (2) in
Step 4 Gently pull the compute module out of the slot while holding the ejector levers.

The compute module has failed.
The CPU on the compute module has failed.
V3. Then you have removed all power cables from the server.
You have obtained the cabinet number and chassis number of the RH8100 V3.
You have located the RH8100 V3 based on the preceding information, and
labeled its panel to prevent misoperations.
You have determined the position on the RH8100 V3 for removing a compute
module.
