This topic describes how to check the installation environment and provides
installation rules.
Checking the Installation Environment
To ensure the proper installation and operating of the RH8100 V3, prepare the
installation environment before installation. Check that the cabinet, space,
temperature, and humidity all conform to the following requirements.

Install the RH8100 V3 in an access-restricted area.
Keep the area where the server will be installed clean and tidy.
Keep a clearance of 800 mm (31.50 in.) between walls and the front and rear
doors of the cabinet to facilitate heat dissipation and device maintenance.
Use a general cabinet that is 19 inches wide and more than 1000 mm (39.37
in.) deep and complies with the International Electrotechnical Commission
297 (IEC 297) standard.
Install air filters on the cabinet doors.
Provide AC power supply from the rear of the cabinet.
