If the analyzer is in continuous sweep mode and not in a measurement (
changes the sweep control to single sweep, and executes a sweep after the trigger condition is

met. If the analyzer is already in single sweep, pressing
trigger condition is met.
Some instrument settings require more than one sweep to complete the measurement (see
, ), or if you have selected a measurement from the functions under the
BW/Avg Average
key, this function sets the trigger system to be initiated only once. In this case the
MEASURE
trigger condition can be met only once and then all the necessary sweeps will be executed
to make the measurement or complete the averaging function.
With Average on (
BW/Avg
the average again from a count of zero. Sweeps are averaged until N sweeps are then taken
(where N is the average number), and then the sweep is halted.
