◆
Flowchart B: V/F Motor Control Set-Up
Figure 4.7
describes how to operate the application in V/f Control. V/f Motor
Control is suited for the most basic applications such as fans or pumps. This
procedure provides quick set-up using only the most basic parameters. V/f control
can be used where rotational auto-tuning cannot be performed.

Perform Stationary Auto-Tuning
* b1-01, b1-02 for frequency reference and run command source
* H1-xx, H2-xx, H3-xx, H4-xx, H6-xx to configure the analog/digital
I/O terminals.
* d1-xx speed reference values if necessary
* C1-xx, C2-xx for Acceleration/Deceleration times and S-curves
* C6-01 Duty Mode

Set A1-02 for V/f Control A1-02=0.
Set or verify the V/f pattern E1-03.
NO
Is the cable
between the motor and
drive longer than 50 m?
YES
for terminal resistance only.
Use parameter A1-06 (application selection) for basic application
manually set/check the basic parameters:
Run the motor without the load.
Couple the load or machine to the motor. Run the drive and motor
and check direction and operation
Fine tune and set application parameters (e.g. PID,...) if necessary.
Check system operation and verify settings function as required.
Drive is ready to run the application
