Notes on Motor Protection
• Motor protection meeting UL and cUL standards has been achieved with the
motor overload protection time (L1-02) set to factory default setting. Therefore,
this parameter does not normally need to be changed. In the event the motor
overload characteristics are known, the overload time can be adjusted to more
closely match the motor. To detect overload more quickly, reduce L1-02.
