8. Remove the nuts (1 and 2) from the lower ball
joint.
CAUTION: Do not use pneumatic tools to tighten
the bolt on the special tool.
9. Using Special Tool 9168 Ball Joint Puller (1) press
out the outer ball joint stud from the steering
knuckle.
CAUTION: Do not use pneumatic tools to tighten
the bolt on the special tool.
10. Using Special Tool 9168 Ball Joint Puller (2) press
out and remove the upper ball joint stud from the
lower control arm.
