5. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister
hose (A) (1999-2001 models) or vacuum hose (A)
(2002-2004 models).

6. Remove the vacuum hose(s) (B) and breather pipe
(C), then remove the intake air duct (D).

7. Remove the battery.
8. Disconnect the engine wire harness connectors on
the left side of the engine compartment.
9. Remove the ground cable (A), relay bracket (B) and
harness clamp (C).
