STARTER RELAY SWITCH
INSPECTION
To test if the switch primary coil is normal, depress
the switch button. The coil is normal the switch
clicks into position.
Remove the starter relay switch.
Connect an ohmmeter and 12V battery to the
starter relay switch as shown. The switch is normal
if there is continuity.
CLUTCH SWITCH DIODE
INSPECTION
Remove the clutch switch diode from the wire
harness. Check for continuity with an ohmmeter.
NOTE:
The test chart is for a positive ground ohm-
meter. The test results will be reversed if a
~a~:
ground ohmmeter is used.
NORMAL DIRECTION: CONTINUITY
