Compress the diaphragm spring in a press just
enough to remove the stopper ring; remove the
stopper ring.
CAUTION:
To prevent a loss of tension, do not compress
the diaphragm spring more than necessary

remove the stopper ,ing.
Remove the clutch plates, clutch damper plate, discs
and pressure plate from the clutch center.
OIL SEAL DRIVER ATTACHMENT

STOPPER RING
CLUTCH

Measure the height of the clutch spring.
SERVICE LIMIT: 5.5 mm (0.22 in)
Measure each clutch disc thickness.
SERVICE LIMIT: 3.2 mm (0.13 in)
Replace any discs that are damaged, discolored, or
thinner than the service limit.
