Pinion Bearing Removal - Honda Gold Wing GL1200D Shop Manual

Remove the pinion retainer with the pinion retainer
wrench.
Pull the pinion assembly off with the pinion puller.
CAUTION:
The n"ng gear must be removed when remving
the pinion assembly.
PINION BEARING REMOVAL
Pull the bearing outer and inner races off the shaft
with the bearing puller.
Pull the other inner race off with the same tool.
Remove the pinion adjustment spacer.
FINAL DRIVE
