TRANSMISSION/SHIFT LINKAGE
TRANSMISSION INSPECTION
Check gear dogs, dog hotes and teeth for excessive
or abnormal wear, or insufficient lubrication.
Measure the I.D. of each gear.

Check the gear bushings for excessive or abnormal
wtiar, or insufficient lubication.
Measure the 0.0. of the gear bushings.

Calculate the clearance between the gear and gear
bushing.

Inspect the mainshaft and countershaft for excessive
or abnormal wear.
