REAR BRAKE PAD INSPECTION
Remove the left saddlebag.
Inspect the pads visually from the back of the
caliper.
Replace the brake pads if wear groove on the pads
reaches the edge of the brake disc.
CAUTION:
Always rep/ace the brake bads as a set to
assure cren disc pressure.
BRAKE SYSTEM
Inspect the brake hoses, metal lines and fittings for
deterioration, cranks and signs of leakage. Tighten
any loose fittings.
Replace hoses metal lines and fittings as required.
BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT
Adjust brake pedal height so the pedal is 0-5 mm
(0-1/5 in) above the upper surface of the footpeQ,
CAUTION:
Incorrect brake pedal height can cause brake
drag.
