BRAKE FLUID REPLACEMENT/
AIR BLEEDING
BRAKE FLUID DRAINING
A cOl/taminated brake disc or pad reduces
slopping power. Discard contaminated pads
and clean a contaminated disc with a high
quality brake degreasing agent.
CAUTION:
Do not allow foreign material to enter the
system when filling the reservoir.
A void spilling fluid on painted surfaces and
wind screen. Place a rag over the painted
surfaces and wind screen whenever the
system is serviced.
Remove the reservoir cover and diaphragm with the
fluid reservoir parallel to the ground.
Connect a bleed hose to the bleed valve.
Loosen the caliper bleed valve and pump the brake
lever (or pedal). Stop pumping the lever (or pedal)
when no more fluid flows out of the bleed valve.
Close the bleed valve.
