Remove the master cylinder piston. primary cup
and spring.
It
may be necessary to apply a small amount of air
pressure to the fluid outlet to remove the master
piston and primary cup.
Clean all parts with clean brake fluid.

INSPECTION
• MASTER CYLINDER
Check the master cylinder bore for scores, scratches
or nicks.
Measure the inside diameter of the master cylinder
bore.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Except G type: 15.925 mm (0.6270 in)

• MASTER CYLINDER PISTON
Inspect the piston for scores, scratches or other
faults.
Check the primary and secondary cups for damage
or deterioration.
Measure the master piston 0.0. as shown.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Except G type: 15.815 mm (0.6226 in)
G type: 13.940 mm (0.5488 in)
