IGNITION COIL
REMOVAL
Remove the top compartment.
Remove the air cleaner case and element holder
from the air chamber.
Remove the ignition control unit and relay bracket
by removing two bolt.
BOLTS
IGNITION SYSTEM
Disconnect the primary wires from the ignition
coils.
Disconnect the three coupler from the coupler
holder and remove the turn signal relay from the
ignition coil bracket.
Remove the ignition coils and cable guide by remov-
ing two bolts.
Remove the spark plug wires from the ignition coil.
PRIMARY COIL INSPECTION
Check the resistance between the terminals with an
ohmmeter as shown.
RESiSTANCE: 2.4-3.0
