8. Reinstall the upper inner cover, and secure it with the three thumbscrews.
9. Install the toner cartridge and waste toner bottle (page I–52).
Installing The Toner Cartridge And Waste Toner Bottle
This procedure is for installing the toner cartridge and waste toner bottle for
the first time.
To replace the toner cartridge when the message "Toner Empty" is displayed
on the control panel, see the User's Manual . Similarly, see the User's Manual
to replace the waste toner bottle when the message "Waste Toner Full" is
displayed on the control panel.
This procedure assumes the following:
•
The power switch is OFF.
•
The power cord is unplugged.
•
The printer front cover is open.
•
The drum has been installed.
•
Developer has been added to the developing unit.
•
The developing unit has been installed.
NOTE: Wear vinyl gloves to prevent toner from contacting your skin. If
