Time Schedule

The Time Schedule enables the System to automatically switch between any
of three access levels (Unlocked, Code Required and Lockout) as
determined from nine daily schedules (Monday through Sunday and two
additional schedules, DY8 and DY9, for use on holidays). The Time
Schedule is essentially a list of scheduled events, consisting of the day of the
week, the time and the access level to set at that time. A typical scheduled
event might be Monday at 08:00 a.m., Unlock.
Once a scheduled event occurs, the access level set remains in effect until
overridden manually by a Master, Submaster, Manager or Supervisor code,
or automatically by the next scheduled event.
If a daily schedule is empty, then the time schedule will make no changes
for that day of the week. For instance, if the System is scheduled to set the
access level to Unlocked at 08:00 a.m. and then return to Code Required
level at 05:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and both Saturday's and
Sunday's schedules are empty, then the access level will remain at Code
Required from 5:00 p.m. Friday until 08:00 a.m. Monday, when it will
unlock. When the entire time schedule is empty, the Lock defaults to Code
Required level.
When the Time Schedule is programmed to set the access level to Unlocked,
you have the option of unlocking immediately at the specified time or
unlocking after a valid access code has been entered (first code in). This
feature may be particularly useful when the Lock is installed on the primary
entrance or is controlling access to an area where unlocking automatically
with no one present is not desired.
When the Time Schedule is programmed to set the access level to Code
Required, you may also specify which of the four user groups you wish to
allow access at the specified time. This provides for automated group
control or "time zones."
