Removal
1. Draw the Cassette Assy (PL2.1.1) from the printer.
2. Release the left and right latches of Cassette Assy that secures the Chute Retard Base L
(PL2.2.3) and Chute Retard Base R (PL2.2.5) from the Cassette Assy .
3. Open the Chute Retard (PL2.2.4) together with Chute Retard Base L and Chute Retard Base R
from the Cassette Assy .
4. Unhook the Roll Assy secured to the groove of Shaft Assy Retard (PL2.2.6) from the Cassette
Assy .
5. Draw the Roll Assy from Shaft Assy Retard .
Replacement
1. Aligning the position exactly, mount the Roll Assy on the Shaft Assy Retard (PL2.2.6) in
the Cassette Assy (PL2.1.1).
2. Hook the Roll Assy to the groove of Shaft Assy Retard .
3. Close the Chute Retard (PL2.2.4) together with Chute Retard Base L (PL2.23) and Chute
Retard Base R (PL2.2.5) from the Cassette Assy .
4. Secure the Chute Retard Base L and Chute Retard Base R with the left and right latches of
Cassette Assy .
5. Mount the Cassette Assy to the printer (RRP2.1.1).
