6.18 Exit Failure

INITIAL ANALYSIS
Inspect the following components.
• Motor Assy Exit (PL7.1.21)
• Harness Assy LVPS (J28-J281) (PL10.1.15)
• PWBA HKB PS (PL10.1.17)
• PWBA HKB26 MCU (PL10.1.13)
• Roll Assy Mid-1 (PL7.1.7)
• Roll Assy Mid-2 (PL 7.1.11)
• Roll Pinch Exit (PL7.1.9)
• Roll Pinch (PL7.1.12)
Are they compatible with your printer version, correctly
installed, not damaged, deformed, or contaminated?

MOTOR ASSY EXIT (PL7.1.21) ANALYSIS
Check the voltage between P/J32–1 frame ground.
Is there +24VDC between P/J32–1 and frame ground?

HARNESS ASSY LVPS (J28-J281) ANALYSIS
Is there continuity (0Ω) between all wires on J28 and
J281?

MOTOR ASSY EXIT (PL7.1.21) ANALYSIS
Is there continuity between:
P/J25–1 and P/J25–2?
P/J25–1 and P/J25–3?
P/J25–1 and P/J25–4?
P/J25–1 and P/J25–5?

ROLL ASSY MID-1 and MID-2 ANALYSIS
Rotate the Roll Assy Mid-1 and Mid-2 manually.
Do both Rolls rotate smoothly?

MOTOR ASSY EXIT ANALYSIS
Rotate the Motor Assy Exit manually.
Does the Motor Assy Exit rotate smoothly?
