Monitoring DS1 Interfaces

The following table describes the information displayed after you type an sdsl cell interface
command.

From the ::interfaces=> prompt, type the ds1 command in the following format, then
press ENTER .
ds1 [<port>]
Parameter
[<port>]
The specific port for which you want to display interface statistics (format slot.port).
Omitting this parameter displays statistics for all DS1 interfaces.
Examples
::interfaces=> ds1 4.3
::interfaces=> ds1

Description
The port for which the interface statistics are
displayed.
A text string describing the type of interface.
The current interface bandwidth in bits per second.
The configured state of the interface. Options:
• up
• down
The current operational state of the interface. Options:
• up
• down

NTERFACES
— The interface is activated.
— The interface is deactivated.
— The interface is operational and ready to
receive packets.
— The interface is not operational.
