ONITORING
You can evaluate the efficiency of the routing engine by monitoring system IP statistics. The
statistics are cumulative since the management card was last reset.
You monitor system IP statistics using the command-line interface from the ::ip=> prompt.
From the ::root=> prompt, type the following command then press
::ip=> prompt.
display stats ip
Type global then press
A screen similar to the following displays.
::ip=> global
Datagrams Received
Errored Headers
Errored IP Address
Datagrams Forwarded
Unknown Protocols
Input Datagrams Discarded
Datagrams Delivered
Datagrams Transmitted
Output Datagram Discards
Output Datagram Discards (No Route)
Reassembly Timeout

Datagrams Reassembled
Datagram Reassembly Failures
