5 To configure the remainder of the virtual ports and their associated
channels, repeat Step 5 on page 3-7 through Step 8 on page 3-12, and
Step 1 on page 3-12 through Step 4 on page 3-15.
Note:
Be sure to completely configure each virtual port and channel and
its selected interface before beginning the configuration of
another virtual port.
6 Save the values permanently to the PSAX system database now, or
before you exit the current session of the PSAX system console interface.

page 3-24.

You can configure a virtual port with up to 24 channels. You have several
options for configuring the 24 channels as follows:
Strap two or more DS0 channels together as one group.
Set up two or more strapped groups.
Configure all 24 channels separately.
