This chapter describes how to set up permanent virtual circuit (PVC),
switched virtual circuit (SVC), and soft permanent virtual circuit (SPVC)
connections in the PSAX systems for service provisioning and how to view
statistics data for billing and performance monitoring. Before you provision
connections for the modules, you must have first completed the following
tasks:
Setting the configuration values for one or more ports on the
Channelized DS3 module
Setting the configuration values for the various types of interfaces on the
Channelized DS3 module
This chapter contains instructions for configuring the following types of
connections, with the exception of the PVC and the SVC supporting the
GR-303 interface.

~ Frame relay-to-ATM virtual channel connection (VCC) connection
~ Frame relay-to-frame relay connection
~ In-band management IP PVC connection
SVC connections:
~ ATM-ATM virtual channel connection VCC (n)
~ ATM IISP CBR connection
~ ATM IISP VBR connection
SPVC connections:
