Chapter 7 Creating Experiments and Workspaces
Importing Settings
To speed up creation of a new experiment, you can import a subset of experiment settings from a
previous experiment. Importing brings in the following items:

Fluorophores (activated PMTs)
n
Parameter names
n
Instrument settings
n
Compensation matrix
n
Plots
Sample positions are not imported. This allows you to apply the settings to different media and
different configurations of samples.
To import settings

Do one of the following:

In the Home window, click Import Settings. Find the run list file that contains the desired
settings, select it, and click Open.

In the Home window, expand the list in the Recent Experiment Sessions panel. For the
experiment session that contains the desired settings, click Import.
