Appendix C Optional External DI Water and Waste Ports
Caution: Only Bio-Rad Service personnel are permitted to install and connect the
External Deionized Water Supply kit. The water supply must be of a pressure between
10 and 20 psi, filtered by a 1 μm or better filter, and be of pure deionized water with at
least 10 megaohm-cm resistivity.
The next two figures show a DI water hose connected to the instrument's external DI water port and
the DI water hose connected to a house DI water filter system, respectively.
