3.2.11.6 AUGER HIGH ASSY (PL8.1.6) Removal

1. Remove the TOP COVER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.5.4.)
2. Remove the REAR COVER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.5.8.)
3. Remove the DRUM CARTRIDGE. (See Section 3.2.9.1.)
4. Remove the TENSION LEVER. (See Section 3.2.11.1.)
5. Remove the INNER COVER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.5.5/Section 3.2.5.6/
Section 3.2.5.7.)
6. Remove the MSI/REGI HIGH ASSY. (See Section 3.2.8.1.)
7. Remove the ROS ASSY. (See Section 3.2.9.3.)
8. Remove the XL RAIL ASSY. (See Section 3.2.9.5.)
9. Remove the FUSER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.1.)
10. Remove the BELT CLEANER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.11.3.)
11. Remove the 2ND BTR ASSY. (See Section 3.2.11.4.)
12. Remove the BTR CAM CLUTCH. (See Section 3.2.11.9.)
13. Remove the HVPS. (See Section 3.2.16.2.)
14. Remove the PROCESS DRIVE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.14.6.)
15. Remove the TRANSFER HIGH ASSY. (See Section 3.2.11.2.)
16. Remove the 2ND BTR CAM ASSY. (See Section 3.2.11.5.)
NOTE: Steps 18 - 21 apply only to printers with CRUM specifications, and
may be omitted for printers without CRUM specifications.
17. Remove the RIGHT COVER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.5.11.)
18. Remove the CONTROLLER PWB. (See Section 3.2.17.1.)
19. Remove the CONT. CHASSIS ASSY. (See Section 3.2.17.3.)
20. Remove the screw (silver, w/collar, 6mm) securing the CRUM ASSY, and
remove the CRUM ASSY from inside the printer.
21. Remove the screw (silver, w/collar, 8mm) securing the AUGER HIGH
ASSY at the rear of the printer.
22. Remove the screw (silver, w/collar, 8mm) and KL clip securing the AUGER
HIGH ASSY inside the printer (lower side).
Disassembly/Assembly/Adjustment
23. Remove the screw (silver, w/collar, 8mm) securing the AUGER HIGH
ASSY inside the printer (upper side).
24. Free the harness by removing from the clamp of the P/H DRIVE ASSY.
25. Remove the 2 screws (black, tapping, 10mm) securing the IBT REAR
BRACKET ASSY, and remove the IBT REAR BRACKET ASSY.
NOTE: Toner may spill from the AUGER HIGH ASSY while performing the
following. You should therefore spread paper on the frame below the
AUGER HIGH ASSY, and be careful not to spill toner while
performing the work.
NOTE: After removing the AUGER HIGH ASSY in the following procedure,
place it on paper in case toner is spilled.
26. Remove the AUGER HIGH ASSY from the top.
