3.2.7.8 LOW PAPER SENSOR (PL3.1.18) Removal

1. Remove the UNIVERSAL CASSETTE. (See Section 3.2.6.1.)
2. Remove the FRONT MID COVER. (See Section 3.2.5.2.)
3. Remove 1 screw (silver , cup head, 6 mm) securing the TRAY SENSOR
BRACKET and remove the TRAY SENSOR BRACKET. (See Section
3.2.7.3.)
4. Disconnect the connector (P/J106)
5. Release the hook on the CASSETTE N/P SENSOR from the TRAY
SENSOR BRACKET and remove the CASSETTE N/P SENSOR.
6. Remove 1 screw (gold, tapped, 8 mm) securing the LOW PAPER
SENSOR and remove the LOW PAPER SENSOR.
C H E C K
When installing the LOW PAPER SENSOR, be sure to fit the
P O I N T
peg on the CASSETTE N/P SENSOR with the location hole in
the LOW PAPER SENSOR.

3.2.7.9 TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR (PL3.1.9) Removal

1. Remove the UNIVERSAL CASSETTE. (See Section 3.2.6.1.)
2. Remove the FRONT MID COVER. (See Section 3.2.5.2.)
3. Remove CASSETTE N/P SENSOR ASSY. (See Section 3.2.7.7.)
4. Disconnect the connector (P/J107) for the TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR
and remove the harness for the TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR.
5. Release the hooks securing the TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR from the
CASSETTE N/P BRACKET and remove the TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR.

P O I N T
Disassembly/Assembly Procedures
When installing the TRAY NO PAPER SENSOR, make sure
the CASSETTE N/P ACTUATOR stays above the TRAY NO
PAPER SENSOR.
