5.1 Overview

After confirming the problem and carrying out preliminary checks, you
should take advantage of FIP (Fault Isolation Procedure), and the information
in "Chapter 3: DIAG Operation," "Chapter 9: Wiring Connection Diagram,"
and "Chapter 10: Operating Principle" to troubleshoot efficiently.

5.1.2 Preliminary Checks

Check the following before troubleshooting:
