3.2.12.11 PRESSURE ROLL (PL9.2.10) Removal

1. Remove the EXIT TRAY ASSY. (See Section 3.2.13.1.)
2. Pull out the FUSER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.1.)
3. Remove the MAIN FUSER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.2.)
4. Remove the UPPER GUIDE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.3.)
5. Remove the FUSER UPPER ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.4.)
6. Remove the H/R HEATER. (See Section 3.2.12.5.)
7. Remove the P/R HEATER. (See Section 3.2.12.6.)
8. Remove the LOWER GUIDE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.7.)
9. Remove the HEAT ROLL. (See Section 3.2.12.10.)
10. Remove the FUSER BAFFLE ASSY. (See Section 3.2.12.20.)
11. Remove the screw (gold, 6mm) securing the FUSER INLET PLATE, and
remove the FUSER INLET PLATE.
NOTE: Be sure not to damage the surface of the PRESSURE ROLL while
performing the following.
Lift the PRESSURE ROLL and remove together with the 2 front/rear P/R
BEARINGS. After doing so, remove the P/R BEARINGS from the PRESSURE
ROLL.
Be careful to mount the FUSER BAFFLE ASSY.
C H E C K
P O I N T Put the both side frame to the H/ROLL BEARING while
mounting the FUSER BAFFLE ASSY.
After mounting, make the adjustment as described in
A D J U S T M E N T
R E Q U I R E D
Section 3.3.1 "NIP Pressure of the MAIN FUSER ASSY".
