■Generating a license key offline (when replacing a CPU remotely etc.)
The procedure for generating a license key offline with personal computer A, without connecting a Motion CPU, and writing
the license key with personal computer B, is shown below.
License
Purchase the add-on library license.

Install the operating system software
and add-on library.
Startup the system, and operate the
add-on library.
Get the
Motion CPU
Check the serial No. of the Motion CPU
serial No.
to write the license key.
Send the serial No. (e-mail etc.)
Receive the Motion CPU serial No.
Insert USB dongle in personal computer.
Perform the following in MT
Developer2.
Generate
• Select add-on library.
license
• Select Motion CPU model.
key offline
• Set Motion CPU serial No.
• Generate license key.
• Export the license key to file.
Send the license key (e-mail etc.)
Receive the license key.
Connect the personal computer and
Motion CPU.
License key
Put the Motion CPU in installation mode.
writing
Turn ON the power supply of Multiple
CPU system.
In the transfer setup, set the connection
(communication) method for the
personal computer and Multiple CPU
system.
