Parameter write/read request procedure
■Procedure to write
1.
Set the parameter No., axis No., parameter ID, and parameter setting value in SD841, SD842, and SD844 to SD847
(SD844 to SD849 when writing 4 words).
2.
Set "1: 2 word write request" or "3: 4 word write request" in SD840.
3.
Check that "0" is set in SD840. (Completion of write)
■Procedure to read
1.
Set the parameter No., axis No., and parameter ID in SD841, SD842, and SD844 to SD845.
2.
Set "2: 2 word read request" or "4: 4 word read request" in SD840.
3.
Check that "0" is set in SD840. (Completion of read)
4.
The reading value is stored in SD544 to SD545 (SD544 to SD547 when reading 4 words).
• R series common parameters cannot be set.
• Writing/reading is not possible when the parameter value to be write/read is indirectly set.
• An indirect setting cannot be set to the parameter setting value.
• When axis No., parameter No., and parameter setting value are outside the setting range, or if the
parameter file does not exist, "-1: Write/read error" is stored in the parameter write/read request flag.
• Do not turn OFF the Multiple CPU system power supply, or change the "[Rq.1120] PLC ready flag (R:
M30000/Q: M2000)" while writing/reading. The parameter data may be corrupted or the Motion CPU may
malfunction.
• When a write error/read error has occurred, the parameter file may be broken or an incorrect value may be
stored. Check the parameter with MT Developer2, remove all error causes, and after writing the parameter
with MT Developer2, change the parameter.
• Do not write values that are outside of the setting range. The system may perform an unintended operation.
• The parameter write/read request is loaded in the main cycle.
• The parameter change function writes/reads the parameters in the standard ROM. However, when the SD
memory card is specified as the parameter write/read destination with the file transfer at boot function, the
parameter change function writes/reads the parameters in the SD memory card.
• When write/read is performed for parameter files with a write protect/read protect password registered, "-1:
Write/read error" is stored in the parameter write/read request flag, and write/read is not performed.
• Parameters that have been read are enabled at the time of loading for each parameter file.
