Anticipatory Functional Test Procedure

Step 1:
Use BESTCOMSPlus to send the operational settings in Table 241 to the BE1-11g. Reset all
targets.

Sets phase VT ratio to 1

Enables 25A function for PLL
operation
Sets the voltage difference
requirement to 15% of the nominal
setting
Sets the allowable slip angle to
0.1 Hz
Sets the time it takes the breaker to
close to 800 milliseconds
Sets number of breaker close
attempts to 1
Sets the activation delay for the
sync fail alarm to 5 seconds
Requires voltage at the phase
terminals to be greater than the
voltage at the Vx terminals by 0.5%
Requires frequency at the phase
terminals to be 0.0008 Hz greater
than the frequency at the Vx
terminals
Sets the voltage control output
mode to proportional
Sets the maximum correctional
pulse width for voltage control to 5
seconds
