20.1 Configuration of the I
The S1C17704 equipped with an I

C module operates as a master using the clock supplied from the 16-bit timer Ch.2 (supports single master mode
only). It supports standard (100 kbps) and fast (400 kbps) modes, and 7-bit/10-bit slave addressing. The I
includes a noise remove function to secure reliable data transfer.
Also it can generate two types of interrupts (transmit buffer empty and receive buffer full interrupts), this makes it
possible to process continuous serial data transfer simply in an interrupt handler.
