Configuration Parameters

tftp_dump_name

This Model 5390 parameter provides the file name used to dump the Model 5390 core image via
tftp if the Model 5390 server operational image and erpcd fail. The parameter must include the
entire path of the dump file, including parent directories. The file you enter must have read and
write permissions.

tftp_load_dir

This Model 5390 parameter defines the string that precedes all files (the image name, configuration,
and motd files are examples) when you boot the Model 5390 server via tftp. This string's value is
determined by the system serving the tftp requests. This string does not precede the
tftp_dump_name.

time_broadcast

This Model 5390 parameter defines whether the Model 5390 server broadcasts for the time if the
preferred load host is not available or does not provide a time server. A Y enables this parameter,
an N disables it. The default is N.

time_server

This Model 5390 parameter determines whether or not the Model 5390 server queries for time
service. Table C2-20 lists the IP addresses to which the network administrator can set this parameter.
The default is 0.0.0.0.
